This is actually a really lovely stretch for the lower body. It hits the hips, hamstrings and butt for an almost comprehensive leg stretch. That’s why I think this would be a great way to stretch after a lower body workout!
The stretches are pretty deep, so you will want to warm up your muscles at least a little bit before diving in, otherwise you won’t get the best results from this video. That being said, there’s a nice yoga flow between the moves, so it’s not a completely static stretch.
This routine is slightly challenging, so I think beginners will want to go slowly and listen to their bodies, to make sure they don’t hurt themselves. All in all, though, it’s a really nice routine, with some unique moves that really stretch you out. I’m sure that if you do this routine on the regular, you’ll feel more and more flexible every day!
