I. Absolutely. HATE. Eagle ab crunches. They are sooo painful, so much so that I had to stop several times throughout the video to take a break. I haaated this part of the challenge.
The redeeming quality of this workout is that the moves are done at a reasonable enough pace to keep up. But on the flip side that means it takes literally FOREVER to get through, and with a move that sucks as much as this one, that makes this workout brutal.
So, 10/10 my least favorite ab challenge day, even over bicycle crunches. That of course means it’s actually a really good workout; it just burns like crazy and is ridiculously torturous. So, you know. Do it! It’s good for you. No pain no gain, right?
