This is a pretty intense workout! It got my heart rate way up high. Though it mixes toning moves in with the cardio, it’s definitely hard on the cardiovascular system. The toning moves are actually pretty tough, especially the burpee variation! And the jumping lunges are killer too–I definitely had to switch to regular lunges for most of the workout.
The cardio moves will hit you hard, too, so I really recommend that, if you’re a beginner, you take it a bit slow! Go at your own pace and don’t try to keep up with hers. Do modifications if necessary. Four rounds of these moves is pretty brutal, but you will smash through it and get an awesome workout.
Plus, Cassey’s encouraging words will keep you going, even when you want to quit. You won’t mind doing it quite so much with her by your side!
