This tutorial was super fun because I’d never tried Burlesque before! It was kind of embarrassing but also a little liberating to try out some sexy dance moves. I enjoyed it, especially because no one was around to watch!
This video is maybe just okay for beginners; there’s no experience necessary to follow along, but some flexibility may be required to actually be able to do this, since it does give you quite a nice inner thigh stretch.
The video actually has a thorough explanation, but strangely, that makes it kind of hard to follow. In this case, it’s easier to watch and imitate than to listen and follow along, so it lost a point for being too wordy.
One thing I can’t stress enough is how necessary it is to be wearing socks and to try this on a smooth floor. The move depends on you being able to slide around easily, especially if you don’t have your middle splits down, and if you don’t have smooth movements you might get stuck in a painful spot!
On the other hand, if you have the right environment and a half-decent level of flexibility, then you’ll have a great time pretending to be a sexy burlesque dancer!
