This video has a nice selection of stretches for the back. They’re very simple stretches except for the last one, but they’re tried, true, and known to be effective in loosening up tension in the back and neck. The poses are not held for too long so you won’t really feel super stretchy at the end of this workout, but this is a good way to gently get moving when you feel stiff.
I’d recommend this basic stretch for the middle of the day at work. All of the moves are done standing so you could easily do them at the office, provided you aren’t wearing a skirt. They aren’t too crazy so I don’t think I’d be embarrassed about doing them in front of my colleagues, either.
You could also do this as part of a cool-down stretch, if you want! It’s got a nice selection of shoulder, back, and arm stretches so you’ll feel nice after doing it. Recommended!
