This is an interesting dance workout. The moves don’t seem to fall into any particular genre of dance so far as I can tell. It’s more like an aerobics workout than dance, without any kind of repeating routine. But it’s still pretty fun!
The moves are really simple, so they are pretty easy to do. However, there are lots of flashing lights and weird camera angles, so I found this workout slightly hard to follow. There also isn’t much guidance on how to do the moves, which is usually fine, but if you can’t see what’s happening it’s easy to get confused. Finally, there’s also a fast-paced finisher that has no guidance, and which doesn’t repeat moves from the first part of the workout, and that particular part is almost impossible to follow, at least for me.
I do think they use the same finisher for all of their dance aerobic workouts, though, so if you do more Shemaroo videos, you might find it easier to follow. In any case, this is a pretty fun, light dance workout that gives you a good sweat without stressing your body, which could be exactly what you need if your body is tired from intense HIIT routines!
