Oh man, you will sweat like crazy with this workout! This is not just cardio; your lower body will also burn, because there are a lot of weighted squats and lunges in this video.
That being said, this is absolutely a total body workout; you will feel it everywhere. I was sore in my shoulders, biceps, and butt the next day! Thankfully, Tabata has short intervals, so you won’t suffer too much during the workout, though you may suffer quite a bit after.
These moves will work you hard, but they aren’t exactly hard moves. If you take out the weights, this workout would be quite beginner friendly. The only issue is that there isn’t a whole lot of explanation of form, so true beginners may not benefit from doing this workout unless they’ve done these moves before.
This video also includes a thorough warm-up and cool-down, so even though it’s short, you will get a comprehensive workout in just 15 minutes. Try it and see how you do!
