Ease of Following |
This is not really a cardio workout; the host teaches you choreography, so there’s a lot of stop and go to the routine. As such, it isn’t really a workout at all, just a quick dance lesson.
Still, it’s sort of fun! It’s almost like taking a dance class. The moves are pretty easy to do, and not hard to put together, so this workout is fairly beginner friendly.
Unfortunately, the video is not super easy to follow. She introduces the moves slowly, but when she puts it into a routine, it’s suddenly super fast! And if you’re not good at dancing like I am, that means you’re going to end up flailing around. Which, I suppose, isn’t a bad thing, since at least you’re moving! But if you want to learn how to dance, it’s kind of frustrating.
There also isn’t any music, or any final sequence, so it’s not exactly an exciting dance class. There’s no end goal, which kind of takes away from the fun.
That being said, I’m sure this is a good dance lesson. I wasn’t feeling it much, but you might, so definitely give it a try! Just don’t expect to get much of a workout out of it.
