Cassey says this is a “fun” cardio workout, but I did it right after coming back from vacation (where I did no cardio for a week), and consequently I suffered quite a lot. I was pretty breathless, since I basically had to do jumping and dancing moves for about 7 minutes straight. Sooo my fun rating may be a little bit skewed, just fyi.
There is, however, a wide variety of moves that really get your legs going, so it’s by no means a boring workout. The arms and really the whole body get nice and warm, too, and she builds up the intensity slowly, so it can also be used as a warmup before doing strength training.
I did get the feeling that this workout was a little bit less organized than some of Cassey’s other videos, but it’s still a great workout, and the music is really fun, too. There is a lot of outdated commentary at the end (about giveaways from several years ago), so you can just skip over that.
Overall, this is a great way to get your body moving before starting a more intense workout!
