Toning, low-impact, beginner’s, upper body weight training workout by Jenny Ford

Length: 13 minutes

An upper body workout that mainly works the arms. The step bench is used for only one move; it’s optional but will provide a slightly more challenging workout for the chest. You can also do that exercise on the floor (for an easier exercise), or on a stability ball.

This is a nice workout that hits every part of the upper body. Only one move gets the upper back, but the rest of the workout works every part of the arms, shoulders, and chest, so it’s a pretty thorough routine. I especially felt it in my triceps!

The moves do burn pretty badly, but luckily the reps are short, so it isn’t a very torturous workout; you’ll feel your arms working, but they won’t be jelly at the end. Personally, I think more reps might have been more effective, at least for me, but you can always do another round of this video, if you have time and if you feel like you need a little more.

All in all this is a great workout for the arms and chest. If you want a truly complete upper body workout, I recommend adding another video that targets the upper back, but otherwise, this is a great video to keep in your lineup!
