This is not an actual routine, so don’t use this video as a cool-down! It shows which moves help you work up to the splits, and gives an explanation of how to do them, but the hosts don’t hold them for very long, and they don’t do both sides, so you will definitely not want to rely on this one to guide you through a post-workout stretch.
That being said, these are great stretches for increasing your flexibility! When I was a gymnast many, many years ago, we used a lot of these to warm up and stretch with, so I can guarantee they work, so long as you do them often.
Although this isn’t a workout per se, it’s great to watch and learn what kind of stretches to do to work the lower body, and you can always keep these in mind for when you want to make your own stretch routine.
