This is a nice selection of dumbbell strength training moves. I actually kind of enjoyed it because I don’t do weight training much, and this workout had some unusual moves, so it was a nice refreshing change of pace.
It’s not too torturous a workout either. The one move that really got me was the pushups, which are always hard (and for the record, I still do them on my knees).
The only thing I didn’t like too much was that there was not as much explanation of the form as I might have needed. Since I don’t use dumbbells often, I could easily have hurt myself. But the video itself is easy to follow and the hosts are really great, so I think it’s doable for beginners, so long as they perform the moves carefully.
For the most part this is a really nice workout for the arms and back, which left me pretty sore for the next two days. Hopefully you’ll like it as much as I did!
