This is a very quick yoga routine, so as far as yoga goes it’s not very relaxing. It moves pretty fast and feels a little bit rushed at times, and it doesn’t focus on breathing, slow movement, or any of the usual relaxing parts of yoga, so I wouldn’t do this one as a way to unwind.
That being said, this is a great way to get the body moving, or to stretch after a workout. It hits most of the parts of the body, and feels really nice while doing it, so it would work great as either a warm-up or a cool-down to a longer workout.
It would also be great to use as a way to wake up in the morning, as the title suggests, or to just do during the work day to get the blood flowing through your body. Overall, this video is recommended as a multi-purpose stretch, so definitely give it a shot!
