This dance was a little less sexy than I expected, which was slightly disappointing. But at the same time don’t I think I really minded that it wasn’t sexy, since I would’ve felt weird lap-dancing an empty chair by myself in the basement. If my husband had walked in, I would never have heard the end of it!
Actually, a lot of the workout was calisthenics done using the chair, like crunches and tricep dips, so a sturdy chair, especially one without wheels, is necessary. There are more of these than there are dance moves, and the dance moves themselves don’t really use the chair, so the title is kind of misleading.
Nevertheless, this is still a fun, unique workout! The music in particular is really great; it keeps you motivated! I don’t think this workout was especially hard, but for some reason I was really sweaty at the end of it. It might have been a particularly warm day, or maybe it was actually tough enough to get me to sweat bullets. You’ll have to try it to find out!
