This is not really one of POPSUGAR’s better videos. It moves a little too quick, so it might be hard for a beginner to follow, and unlike other POPSUGAR videos, it doesn’t have much of a warmup or a cooldown. As you can see from my ratings, though, it’s not a super intense workout, so it doesn’t really  need a warmup as your legs gradually work up to harder exercises.

I do like how Anna takes the time to explain the proper form for each move. That makes it really informative, and is something I always appreciate. I also enjoyed the different array of exercises in this workout, and the element of balance required for the later moves, which works the core as well.

It’s nice that this routine doesn’t have lunges, too. I don’t mind either way about lunges, actually, but there are those that hate them, so this video will make them happy. However, I still wouldn’t do this video if you have knee problems, since the narrow squat and one-legged squat might be a little hard on the joints.

All in all, I recommend that if you do this video, either use it as a warmup or as a part of a set of videos, but perhaps not as a workout on its own. Alternatively, you can do 2-3 rounds of this video and get a decent leg burn in, and maybe even a little cardio too!
