This is a great core and arms workout! There aren’t any ab moves done on the back; all of the core moves are standing or as plank exercises. As such they aren’t exactly ab-focused moves, but your abs and lower back will definitely work, so it’s acceptable to call this a core workout.
What this workout really targets, though, are the arms and upper back. When you’re done with the video, your upper body will definitely have given its all!
What’s really great about this workout is that it’s super flexible. There are plenty of modifications for all levels, although it might be hard to do the advanced moves without the TRX strap. I do recommend using weights if you have them, however. You will feel it far more! But even without all of the equipment, you’ll get a really good workout, so this workout is absolutely at-home gym and beginner friendly.
