This is a really nice stretch routine with a really wide variety of moves. It’s rather dynamic so it works best as a warm-up rather than a cool down, though the beginning was fairly relaxing.

Since the moves are pretty challenging, I’d recommend beginners skip this one until they feel strong enough and flexible enough to hold the poses. Though Jacquelyn does say at the beginning that she would offer beginner modifications, she doesn’t do it for every move and if she does, she doesn’t always show how to do them, so this video is definitely not beginner friendly. It also loses some points for ease of following because of that.

However, she does do a great job of explaining the form of the intermediate level moves, so it is generally easy to follow if you’re of a level to do so. The stretches also feel super nice, so I actually really enjoyed this routine.

I think this would go great as a warm-up before a sports match, meet, or competition, but I’m not an athlete so I couldn’t say for sure. Either way it’s a lovely deep stretch, wonderful to get you feeling limber!
