This is a very fast-paced yoga routine, so as far as yoga goes it’s not particularly relaxing. There’s no emphasis on breathing or meditation, either, so I also wouldn’t recommend this is a pre-bedtime yoga routine.
However, this video would work fabulously as either a warmup or a cooldown for any workout, not just running, or even as a dynamic stretch routine on a rest day, to wake the body up with. There are some really excellent lower body stretches included here, so this routine is a great complement to any lower body workout. For me, it felt great after butt day!
Recommended as a complement to your regular workout or as a way to get a good leg stretch in on a busy day!
