This is quite an advanced workout. Since a lot of the moves are quite challenging, I don’t recommend this video for beginners. There are moves that are good for intermediate levels, though, so if you’re upper beginner and looking for a good challenge, this is it. I, personally, had a pretty hard time with this workout; I basically did every move modified and still had to stop in the middle of some of the cardio moves to catch my breath.
Although there are more cardio moves than ab moves, all of the toning moves are targeted for the abs, so there is good reason for it to be called a “core workout”. That being said, don’t expect this workout to be an “ab blaster”, because the cardio is far more intense than the toning portion.
Don’t be too scared, though! Give it a shot. It’s a fantastic workout. Just pace yourself, because it might be easy to hurt yourself if you’re not used to such challenging moves.
