This is a short but very effective workout! I was sore for days, like, hard to stretch or use my abs in any way sore. The intermediate/advanced modifications had my abs burning right away. Granted, I’m a little bit of a sissy when it comes to ab workouts, but still, this was a brutal one. You’ll feel it, I promise!
Since it was pretty high on the torture level I didn’t find it very fun (because no one likes to suffer), but did I like that this video targeted all of the abdominal muscles for complete ab workout. I’ll definitely be (begrudgingly) doing this one again!
The cool-down included in this video is only about a minute long and touches on just a few of the stretches that are good for cooling your abdominal muscles down. Do them for a little bit longer, add a couple more, and you might not feel it the next day as much as I did.
Also, this workout is almost completely apartment friendly except for the standing knee-to-elbow move, which could be loud depending on how heavy footed you are. However, it’s only one move and only for a short while, so maybe your downstairs neighbors can forgive you!
